"A fourth generation Oregonian, I returned to Bend from a corporate life as a marketing manager and sales engineer in 1981 in order to enjoy the river, mountains, and fresh air of Central Oregon. Having achieved the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute's CCIM designation in 1998, my plans include more emphasis on investment and quality properties for our clients. Although never having quite enough time for play, Brian still spends time rafting and skiing throughout the northwest each year. But his first priority is to his wife Karen and their six year old daughter, Whitni. Trips to Disneyland and swim lessons have replaced the cruises and other romantic adventures for the short term... "Oh well. What a great sacrifice," Brian smiles.

Owned and operated small construction company based out of Bend specializing in the construction of Boise Homes.

Branch Manager
Beginning as a sales engineer in Portland, Seattle and San Diego, competing with Honeywell and Johnson Controls, Brian was promoted to Branch Manager of the Arizona office in 1977. At that time his responsibilities increased to include financial control, engineering, installation, and service functions in addition to sales and marketing. During this time he had direct control over 10-20 employees including salespersons, engineers, electronic technicians, union pipefitters and clerical staff.

Engineer
Responsibilities as a Research and Development engineer included premarket testing of several forklift designs. Later as a corporate Quality Control Engineer, he worked with all domestic production and service facilities to assure consistent product quality.
